**I do not use an external temp sensor just the one that is in the stove***

It works fine most of the time and reads the correct temp. A couple of times a week for a couple of hours it will start to read inaccurate temps. As I stare at it now it read 35 degrees F. It is 72 in here. This obviously causes the stove to run more than it should. Any thoughts on why this might happen? Does the probe need replacement? The stove is on its third season. Thanks up front for the help.
