I cleaned my Harman Accentra 52i-TC insert stove a few weeks ago and replaced a cracked burn pot. I replaced the ignitor (OEM) at the same time since all was out in the open. Of course the new ignitor was defective and had a short in it and it blew the fuse on the circuit board. I replaced the fuse and ran the stove with a replacement ignitor. I don't see any errors on the touch panel but the circuit board is blinking dim blink, bright blink, dim blink, off. (repeats) The stove works normally but the combustion fan seems to stay on for hours after the burn cycle is over. I watch the ESP drop in temperature on the diagnostic screen but I don't know why the combustion fan won't turn off. At what temperature would I expect the combustion fan to be off? I'm confident it was somewhere between 106 and 90 degrees and it was still running.
I thought this might be a 3 blink error code so I ordered a new cheap ESP on Amazon and swapped it out and unfortunately no change. I just spent $400 to replace the circuit board and it still blinks the same. Now I'm thinking it's not a board issue. I plan to replace the ESP with an OEM ESP and see if my combustion fan keeps blowing ~2995 rpm when cooling down. I see the old OEM ESP and the aftermarket one dropping in temperature during my cooling cycles so I thought they were working properly. I read on this forum about updating the firmware so it doesn't run long and no change after updating. I'm really at a loss here.
The wingnut on the fines box is tight, the combustion fan blade cover is secure and all gaskets appear in tact. I really don't know where to go next. I appreciate all of your help and I thank you in advance for taking the time to help me sort this out.
With gratitude,
