Did a total cleaning this morning since I have burned a little over a ton .....got all the knooks an crannies but I f'ed up when removing the Combustion blower, on my Englander the thermocouple for the combustion fan is mounted at the exhaust after the fan, when removing the fan assy. I undid the thermocouple but I guess I pulled on the wires just enough to pull the opposite end out of the Control pad..so when I restarted she got HOT an THEN OVERHEATED went into shut down mode since the unit didnt know it had a fire in it ..well NOW I KNOW THAT PART WORKS.
I had to unscrew the control pad to get a hand on it and plug it back in ..the plug in seems to be awful loose ....would it hurt anything to apply a little epoxy to the outside of the control pad/thermocouple plug to keep it from coming out so easy ?
THOUGHTS PLEASE?
