Kansas
Spring here in Kansas means prescribed burning of native pasture land. It’s done to control invasive and native species of weeds/trees. I’m on two local fire departments, and I counted up that in the one district over 4,100 acres of grass were being burned today. Luckily, it’s usually a bit breezy, so the smoke blows away. Sorry, Oklahoma or Nebraska….

Spring in northern NH, 20" of snow last week, 16" yesterday ;) At least it melts quick.

Camelias are shedding their blooms here. The tulips are in full bloom, lilacs and rhodies will be next. I've mowed the lawn twice already.

Here is some Maine humor about mud season.
