Any way to physically check vacuum switch.

Fired up my 55-TRPEPI for the first time this season and I had a dead auger. I cleaned the stove and chimney the weekend before so I knew blockage wasn't a issue. I bypassed the vacuum switch and stove is running. Looks like it's running normal just want to double check before I call englander for a warranty claim. ( stove is 10 months old)

I would look for a blockage in the hose from the combustion fan to the switch. More than likely that's where the problem lies.

You can also check a switch by sucking on the hose. If it clicks, it’s probably working but you’d have to stick a multimeter on it to check for continuity while your sucking to be sure. Might want to blow the hose out before you suck on it or you might get a mouth full of dust. Just don’t blow into the switch.

I think I got it. Looks like the hose was plugged up. I blew it and now it's working normal. Thanks
