Have an old Tri-star 25-5670 I'm trying to get going. I know it's real close to an Englander model but I believe the burn pot and burn backplate are different. My backplate is warped. The backplace has a half moon opening at bottom which I don't believe the Englanders have. Just wondering if that's OEM or something that a previous owner did.

Yes it will. Thank you. For some reason, this old stove I just got has a half moon at bottom cut out. Not sure why. Gonna tack weld a piece over and see if it helps or hurts. I would think it would help.
Oh, also, in the lower left corner of your picture there is two square/rectangle holes. Mine has a small plate that covers those holes but can be removed for cleaning. I'll send some pic's.

Couple other questions, please. Seems you and I might be the very few who possess a Tri-Star stove. Is it possible I could get a picture of your burn plate inside of burn pot? Seems mine has been modified and I'm having issues getting the stove up to temp. Also, has your stove been converted to the digital controller? How tall does your flame usually burn and approx temp of door/fire box area, please ?

ARC, Seems you are very familiar with the US Stove Tri-Star 25-5670. I have one that originally had the analog controller. Englander PU-CB98. I had to replace controller so I replaced with a digital PU-CB98. This controller has 4 modes. ABCD. I've been told all kinds of things. I was told the Tri-Star should run in B mode. I have been told D is a hotter mode than C. I have not tried B because I have seen several people with the Englanders say never to run in A or B. My Tri Star seems to like the C mode over the D but I do have to run Heat range very high "8" just to get the stove to put out any heat. The stove is in my insulated garage, 1500 sq. ft. and it is not heating very well. Suggestions please?

The Tri Star I worked on still had the analog controller.

Tri Star seems to like the C mode over the D
The Tri Star is basically a renamed/tagged Englander 25PDV made from 1993 to 2000. Englander recommends B mode with settings at 6-1-1 on bottom buttons (low fuel feed, low burn air, air on temp). That said I would experiment and try all 4 modes and find the one that burns best for you.
