Truly beautiful work. The man loved nature. The article however is really confused about the centuries. He died in 1898 but it says he was married in 1981 and shows painting dates of 1978. The rest of the site is pretty bad too.

Cool . . . so he was a time traveler as well as an artist.
 
Yes, the writing on the site is poor and heavy on the propaganda, some with an anti-semitic slant.
