Hi everyone. Its been awhile since I have posted on here. My Eviro Maxx has been working perfect for years now. So now I have a little issue. I was just wondering what was involved in changing the auger bushings. I noticed the other day more dust in the house than normal. I remember reading threads about auger bushing wearing and leaking fines onto blower fan. I checked this morning and sure enough there is a big pile laying around the fan. Do you just unbolt the motor assembly and lower the auger down and replace the bushing or will the auger shaft be worn out also? Thanks.

If my memory serves me
On the auger motor, there is a set screw. Loosen it off
you do not have to take it off but almost. The motor with
a little force will now come away from the auger. You will see bolts (4 )
holding the lower bushing plate remove the bolts, the plate will now come off
the auger may come with it (empty the pellets from the hopper first )
You can replace just the bushing or the plate and bushing
Put it together in reverse order
You can get parts here

Is there an upper bushing on these stoves?

Yes That is why when you buy them they come in pairs
At least I hope that's the reason :)
