Where it gets cold
Hello,

AN old Avalon. Running it on a wired thermostat. It began running (intermitently)

Like it is getting power and then not getting power. You can hear this in the blower fan (on off, on off, on off, etc.)

I am thinking maybe something either with the thermostat..... or the thermostat wire..... The wire does go under a carpet
at a traffic area... Maybe it is broken...

I am going to move the stat closer with a shorter wire and see if that helps.

TO test the stat............ can I just use a jumper wire (or just connect the two wires and by pass the stat......

that is all that the stat really is.... just a switch....... so instead I will just connect them together.... No Stat... see if
the unit still runs intermittently (on off, on off, on off, etc.)

Thanks, SOup

Where the stat connects, put a jumper wire across the connection
Undo the stat wires completely. Run your stove, see if it works as it should without the stat
