Recently got a englander pdvp and took it out for a cleaning(shopvac and air compressor style). I pulled out the baffel plate that hangs against the back wall in the combustion chamber and noticed it had quite a warp/bend to it. The bottom right quarter of the plate is bent out a good amount and it does not sit flush with the back wall. My question is if that is normal or not...haven't been able to find in info though i think i recall reading that it should sit flush with the back wall but haven't been able to find where i read that. Anyone know? The heat out put of the stove has been pretty awful, hence why i took it out to be cleaned. I wonder if this is causing exhaust gases to escape to quick?

What is your model? PDV or PDVC? I do not recall hearing about a PDVP...
PDV or PDVC go to Blowes and look at the floor model they are selling to compare.
Also check England's Stove Works website to see if the part number is the same with the new models then compare.
