Hello I am the owner of a new to me BIS Panorama Stove. It has the chimney and two air inlet pipes on the side, but I am wondering what and extra (thinner than the chimney) black pipe sticking up near the front top of the stove (a few inches behind the door area) is. Could it be sending hot air to the upper story (house is two stories; stove on bottom story)?

Google bis panorama stove, I get a link to woodstoves.net with a manual. I believe you are right: they are heat ducting outlets.

I just got the same unit from what I was told. Mine is hooked up to outside air it looks like if this is the part you are talking about.
