blazers are hot first burn of season

First burn of season under way. I cam home house was at 60 degrees and it is rainy and raw out on the north shore of ma. I figured let's fire up the stove and see if all the hype is true about these blazer pellets. I just bought 3 ton in june at a prebuy special of 299 per ton. These are now priced at 339-359 in my area. I threw in the first bag and got to it. They do burn a little fast as to be expected with a df pellet but so far ash is nearly non existent and the heat is amazing. Within one hour my house jumped 12 degrees on a med setting and is now at 72. I have a split level home 1500sq feet. Back of the hand test I could only hold for about 8 seconds before it started to really scold my hand. Fines in the first bag were not bad at all and pellet size is consistent throughout. Very happy with my purchase of these pellets this year! Anyone else burning tonight?

I love the DF. My Okanagan's are super hot. But for $370 a ton they should be. I'm in MA as well. It's a bit cool outside. I'm sitting on stat of 74.

Filled up the Harman with corn and pellets. Todays high was 58 with a ugly SE wind. Farmers are early harvesting fresh fuel. About $130 T

Probably could have waited but wanted to try those blazers you were right on earlier posts I had I sure do like these pellets

Burning off some left over greene team platniums here tonight. A cold damp chill in my bones. Stove feels wonderful tonight. Enjoying a cold beverage next to the stove.

My Granule LG's (woodpellets.com) burn the same way. HOT and literally zero ash. A TRULY premium softwood pellet. Well worth the $30.00 more a ton..

Glad to hear those are burning well for you. I burnt about 20 bags last year and heat was decent. I would buy again

Now that I have a little more experience and did a lot of research I can see why folks choose to burn df exclusively or softwoods in general. A lot better heat and way less ash.

You will like the Blazers for sure. My glass is staying very clean as well. Last year was my first year burning and I started with green garbage supremes. Now that I have a little more experience and did a lot of research I can see why folks choose to burn df exclusively or softwoods in general. A lot better heat and way less ash.

Okanagan DF are also a superb pellet but quite pricey.

I did a test fire after I cleaned the flue vent (my first cleaning!) but it's not cold enough yet for the pellet stove. The heat pump is covering the shoulder season.

I going to print out every post highlighting pre-buy of Blazers and burn the printouts. That should keep the house warm until December at least.
