I have a 2001 P24i, serial no. 9453259,that has power to the control panel but the panel doesn't work. I had the #2 light blinking and I had the stove apart to check it out. My son moved the side with the control panel and it shorted out. I replaced the fuses, but I am still not getting anything out of the panel. I checked to see if there is power getting to the panel with a volt meter and it is getting power.Since I have no power, I can't figure out why it won't start. Before this happened, I would have to push the start button several times to get the stove going. Is there any way to test the control panel itself or is it toasted?
Before the panel was shorted out, I replaced the door rope to try to cure the #2 light, but that didn't help. As I said above, I can't get to this problem until I get the control panel working. Any suggestions?
