I’m looking at a Buck 261 stove to replace the prefab fire place at our soon to be house up in the north woods of Wi. I’m trying to find out what size log it will take and the value of the stove ? Thanks

That's their hearth heater. It can be top or rear vented. It's around a 2.5 cu ft stove. I think it will take about a 20" log loaded N/S.

21 inches North to South and 17 east to west

Thank, what’s a good price? I would have to drive a few hours each way

A fair price if in good condition would be $8-900. Anything below that is gravy.
