Can a Englander PDVC burn corn?

I know that it is not a corn stove but can a pdvc in fact burn corn.........I don't see why it can't. I have a friend that has a pellet only stove and has been burning corn in it for years. Thanks for the help.
 
it is not recommended , and even if tried it could only handle about 25-30% corn mixed with pellets. but its ugly without a mixer corn clinkers up badly and it also creates a boatload of ash. i would recommend avoiding it.
