Kind of looks like a home brew or metal shop special.

I thought it might be. It has tubes in top and bottom and what looks like a cutout for a blower attachment setup on the back. So I wasn't sure if a one-off would do all that.

That's more sophisticated than the average home-brew stove. It might have been a prototype. What are the screws on the door holding or attached to?

They don't seem to hold or attach to anything. I was thinking it might have held a logo or something at one time. I'll get some more pics today and try to post more.

If that’s the blower outlet under the louver/ visor, it is the same style cover as the upper intake on a Haugh’s, acquired by Century.

Sorry I didn't get these posted sooner. The louver/visor is just a heat deflector I believe. It does not connect or vent to anything it just is on the outside. There are tubes under the unit and in top of the fire box.

That's a lot of work for a small shop or home brew stove. It has the look and feel of a prototype or a test mule.

It came out of a small two bedroom cabin. New owner bought the place and put propane furnace in and didn't want the stove anymore. Didn't have any info about it other than it heated the cabin very well.

Was hoping it was a model I could get a manual on and see what blower unit was on back. I've never owned a wood stove that had that capability so if anyone wants to walk me through how all that supposed to work I'd be grateful lol

You might be able to get a blower on it. Which picture exactly has where the blower attaches?

Is it this one?

It looks like the blower attaches to the small round hole. A basic Englander blower would probably work. Not sure about the big rectangular hole. That may need a cover plate if connecting a blower leaks air out there.

Could that rectangular hole have been for an outside air connection?

AC-16 is the defacto Englander blower. They can be had almost everywhere. All the woodstove / pellet stove parts companies online, Amazon, ebay etc. They do have a 4 bolt flange and @Username99210599 your stove only has two. And I'm also not sure about the flange size if it would mount up or not. Might not be an exact fit, but I think it could work. All of the Englander OAKs that I could find looked to be for a square opening and the one on this stove is rectangular. There again, if you decided to use the OAK i'm sure you could find a kit that would fit it from a different brand.

This is an interesting stove. So the guy you got it from didn't know any history on the stove? Maybe find out when he got the stove or if he got the camp and it was there then, maybe the previous owner might know something helpful.

Thanks for all the great info. Yea, the owner I got it from had bought the place with the stove already there. He used it for a few yrs then replaced it with a propane furnace because didn't want to use wood anymore at his age. He didn't have any history on the stove. I'll probably run the stove as is and see how she does. It should be ok to leave the holes on the back and operate the stove normally correct?
