We have a Jotul propane fireplace that is the franklin stove style and I'm curious if I can take the glass front out and run it safely without it in place? I feel like I'm losing a lot of the heat with the glass in place and right now with the temperatures in the teens I'd like all the heat I can safely get.

Thank you,
