Canadian Tire has their digital moisture meter on sale 60% off. The description says it measures only 7-25% but it goes higher (would need to check manual for real top limit).

I picked up the moisture meter when it was on sale previously. It was really useful for sorting my mixed species CSD "seasoned" wood. Anything over 25% was left in the basement to dry out more. Made my wife much happier to not have to deal with the fire dying when she added bad wood to the fire.

The non-contact infrared thermometer on sale 60% as well. I don't have any experience with it and the online reviews are mixed.

Kevin.

I have their IR therm, does not go high enough for use around the stove. Save your CT money for something else. I do like the Fluke HVAC IR one that I did buy.
