Been using new serenity pellet stove thus season. Have noticed slight whitish discoloring on sides of stove which correspond to where firebox of stove is. All seems like it’s running normally. Does this sound normal?

Yes its the norm with some paints mfg’s use. It is caused by heat and oxidation.
