Got three loads today 5 min from my house. Very heavy logs. Need help with ID.

Some of that bark looks like maple - nice find
 
At first blush I would agree with Schlot . . . some type of maple . . . the caveat being I am much, much better at tree identification with leafs.

I think I got just under a cord. Not bad for 2 hours of my time back and forth 3 times.

Definitely maple. Doesn't quite say sugar, but it might be.

I'd say Sugar Maple. Second choice would be another type of maple, perhaps Red Maple.
 
Silver/hard maple, they look heavy
So glad I had a ramp on the trailer. Rolled it all. Very heavy indeed. Bonus was that it was in thier driveway, so I just had to back up and load
 
Looks like the load could be partially seasoned, due to its grayish color, but not sure.
 
Looks like sugar maple to me, good stuff
 
Hard maple. That's sweet when you get the wood so close to the house.
 
Looks like some will be tough to split.
