This is stunning, sad, and starkly beautiful footage shot by Sy Stepanov of the devastation left by recent wildfires in the north of our state. Over 200 homes are lost and some small towns are without power possibly for weeks. That means no water or refrigeration for many. They are taking donations to help. Look for the "Tip this video" button at the bottom.

Move East. No burn bans, no forest fires, and plenty of trees for everybody.:)

Not likely, I grew up there and am not returning to live. Forest fires do happen back east. Some are large.

Aw...you could be my neighbor (Great Lakes). :) Rains all the time. No fires, no droughts. Plenty of water.

And all the bugs you can eat. lol

Good Idea: Flying a drone to view the devastation created by a fire to show its impact.
Bad Idea: Flying a drone over a fire disrupting the fire crews.
