I Have an ECO 45 pellet stove and I really need help! We kept getting the error high heat and had no idea why it was happening, so we did a major cleaning and reset the stove and it happened again so I unscrewed the exhaust fan ( tubeaxial blower ) on the opposite side of the control board ( left side of stove ) and I took a look and it seems like something had melted onto the fan blades like plastic Or something from the fan itself and the fan would not turn so we scraped off whatever it may of been and my husband got the fan to turn but it definitely doesn't turn as good as the other one on the other side .. The wires coming out of the fan look a bit fried or burnt and so I'm guessing we will need to buy a new fan?! I tried lighting the stove after making sure the fan could turn and it the stive worked but the fan was getting hot along with the fan housing - which might explain the melting? The stove was blowing heat even tho error code N was displayed .. Everything is working except the fan? I figure this is the problem and cause for high heat and then stove shuts off.... I found a fan on eBay but it's 115v-60Hz-22/24 w and the one in the stove is 115v-60Hz-18w so I'm not sure if it will work or not...Any help or advice would be awesome! We have to get it fixed ASAP because it's colddd thank you for your time!
