Have been looking at the efficiency Maine web site for rebates on pellet stoves. From reading the forums. I think Harman pellet stoves seem to be highly rated. Why are they not one of the pellet stoves listed for rebates. I think maybe just one of the lower btu models was listed. Rated highly in consumer reports. Just wondering why no rebates.

Just about all pellet stoves are 78% efficient its a BS number assigned to them. Efficiency Maine rebates I have found do not always make sense they had one for electric hot water heaters that had a EF of .98 or above a couple years ago no one makes one with a EF of .98 or above. I called and asked if the number was correct and if anyone had ever submitted a rebate for it. No not yet was their answer.
