Recently had an issue with the stove cutting off unexpectedly. There were no error codes, and I had recently cleaned the thing top to bottom. So I tried resetting the controls to the factory settings and that seemed to solve the issue (I think the stove may have been in On/Off instead of High/Lo). While I was resetting everything, I noticed the fuel setting was at 3. The manual states to set it at 1 for pellets (5 for corn, 6 for cherry pits). I reset it to 1 and the stove is burning perfectly. I'm just curious... what do those fuel settings do? Change feed rate? Blower speeds? I've searched but I can't find anything on it.

Yes it adjusts feed rates for different fuels, they all burn at different rates.
