Is $600 a good deal on one of these??? I found one locally for this price and the guy said he has only ran 2 tons of pellets through it...he said it was a back up stove...I was kinda thinkin of installing this in the basement as a primary furnace as I only have an oil boiler right now other than my 2 stoves.

I would question the age/usage of that stove. I believe that stove was discontinued somewhere around 2001-2002. Granted it may have sat at the store for some time after that and maybe it was a back up stove, but at a retail of about 2000.00 at that time, that is a lot of $ to have sit for 6-7 years and only burn two tons of pellets through it.
