The left side of my stove is considerably hotter than the right side (facing the stove). The right side barely throws any heat - the left side is too hot too touch for more than a few seconds and throws lots of heat. Been that way since new one month ago. Are they all like this? Why?

the room air (or covection) fan is located on the right side of the unit (facing it) the exhaust blower and the exhaust channel is on the left, so you are drawing cooler air into the right side and pushing out exhaust on the left, also the room fan being on the right allows a shorter distance from the blower to the aoir outlet than on the left so the air has more time exposed to heat inside the unit before leaving the stove so its hotter. we actually try to channel more of the air out the left side of the vent for this reason , its going to give you more heat overall doing this. its a normal trait of this unit to be hotter on that side than the other.
