I'm installing a Piazzetta Monia, direct vent, and am trying to decide how to run the exhaust vent. Is it better to go out the wall then rise 5 feet; or rise 5 feet inside the house then out? I've heard that if there's a power outage, a better draft is created if the vertical rise is inside the house. And I've also heard that it doesn't matter if the rise is inside or outside. What's the truth?

Your choice. No difference inside or out
Mine is inside

Mine is inside and I assume I get a little extra heat inside as it is radiating off the pipe. Probably not enough to make a real difference though.
