New stove, and my first pellet stove. I am just experimenting and I want to extend the room temp sensor across the room. My question is, do I need to worry about how far I go with the wire I add to the sensor that is now on the stove. I checked the manual and I didnt see anywhere in it where they talked about it. I would like to go about an additional 20 to 30 feet from the stove. I don't see a problem with that but you never know. The stove is a XXV.

You should be fine, I just did this with an XXV, approx 25' and all is good.
