Last evening at 6pm I loaded 23 lbs mix of Aspen and Red Oak with the air set a smidge above 0. Temps got down to lower 30’s by morning and the cabin was still 75 so no need to refill til tonight. So at 6pm I found just enough coals for a relight with another mix of Aspen/Oak. Stove was still warm but not like it was making heat. Still thought I’d share just to brag a bit.

I tried a couple more 24 hour burns with similar loads but just had a few embers left. Probably could do better with larger Oak splits. Consistent 12-16 hour burns are no problem.

Seems they raised your snow totals:(... if time permits post a pic of the Fireview loads on your upcoming frigid weather. Real test coming up. We will be below average after Thanksgiving but not frigid, the F45 will have to work a little harder.

I'm liking your post pic but not liking the 17" it shows. You got hammered. That's a lot to move, hopefully some of it was dry. I thought it started as rain so at first the snow woulda been wet. After 71 yesterday it's 40 now, going to 48 with bv wind. Indid light off the F45 an hour ago. I preloaded it last night since I didn't burn yesterday.. be careful in that snow. How bad does 17" affect the solar panels ?

I think we got another 3” after that picture. It started out heavy wet snow then got lighter. Ground was soft and warm so that made things difficult for snow removal. Had many small trees down on my road that had to be cleaned up. Solar panels had a two foot drift on top of roof and couldn’t clear the very top but just a little while ago it all slid off.
