Wondering how to figure year on grandma? Bought house last year love the stove. Spring time looking to restore back.

Knowing when changes were made and the evolution of parts and improvements is how to have a good idea of time of manufacture.

Guessing 1978.

The door handle length gives too much leverage, and was bent for ‘79 which helped prevent over tightening. If the handle is in the locked position, it needs adjustment, and the floor protection is inadequate.

Thankyou and yes we are gonna redo the entire hearth because it is not wide enough
