Fly Ash ?

Hi all,
Hope this is in the correct spot....
I cleaned my outside thru the wall 6" Stainless chimney. I ran a brush up
thru it. It looked as tho it didnt really need cleaned but I did so anyway.
The only thing that came out was very very slight amounts of what I presume is flyash.
It was so light that the light breeze we has just blew it away. Now, was that in fact what is called fly ash ?
There was so very little of it that I cant even show it to you.
So I would think that I ma burning the stove correctly and safely. What say you who know alot more that I do .

I don't imagine that a fly makes much ash when you burn them.

It certainly sounds like you're running it correctly. You'll want to get a look at tge top of the chimney before you burn next year to make sure though.
