If you think prices are bad in the lower 48, check these prices out
Multiply the prices by 3.75 for approx. prices per U.S gal. in Canadian cents. Multiply that result by .9 foe price per U.S. gal. in U.S. cents. You can do the math for U.S. dollars from there.
That's over $4.50 USD for a US gal of gas and almost $4.10USD for a US. gal of heating oil. #1 heating oil would be more than that.
