New pellet stove user. I inherited a Harman Accentra 52i insert, works fine after a thorough cleaning. But I can't figure out how to remove the igniter (anticipating the need to do that some day). Pic attached. My stove does NOT have the two 5/16 inch bolts shown in all the instructional videos. There is an Allen bolt which I removed since it was the only possible attachment point I could identify other than removing the burn pot. The igniter and cradle did not budge. Do I just need to pull cradle plus igniter down with more force? I did find an older post on this subject but did not find a clear solution. Any help will be much appreciated.

I have a P43 and it's new so never changed mine. I do know it won't be fun. On yours it looks like you rotate that catch plate on the right CW. Reminds me of the Combustion blower shroud

Thanks for your input, Whitenuckler. I did loosen the Allen bolt and rotate the catch but the igniter/cradle remained firmly in place in spite of my moderate tugging. I removed the Allen bolt and catch completely, no change (the bolt and washer for the Allen bolt are difficult to reach and re-attach, suggesting to me that this is not the right approach). Thus wondering if more force might do the trick. If I free up the igniter/cradle the rest of the replacement process will not be a problem, just free up the two igniter wires in the back and pull them through. I'm of course reluctant to start banging away on a part that's working when I'm not sure of the mechanism. Enjoy your new P43.
