Our stove was installed in late spring, so it wasn't used too much this year. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a good cleaning today.

The problem.... I can't slide the compass panel up so I can remove the flame guide. The manual says that I should "slide the compass panel up a bit" so I can remove the flame guide. It won't budge more than a fraction of an inch. It seems like it's leaning too far forward, so it won't slide up.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks!

Well... after some more fiddling I got it to work. I'm glad I put it back together, since I now know how everything works.
