Harman distribution blower

I could of sworn I saw a post about this a week or so back but couldn't find it while looking through the search.
I have a Harman Accentra FS that is just about a year old. Cleaned the stove Thursday night and has been running fine since. This morning I came home from work and my wife informed me the distribution blower has been cycling on and off (not exactly her words but what I summed up.. Sorry hunny).
I sat there as the stove ran with the blower off for about 5 minutes (with a good strong flame). Then distribution blower turned on, ramped to high (where it was set) ran for approximately 15 minutes then abruptly shut off again.
There has been no error flashing on the status light.
In the year I've had the stove, I don't recall this ever happening, it has always at it's set point didn't vary much nevermind shut off.
I checked to make sure all seals were tight, including the hopper gasket. And the feed is working fine as well.
Flame does not seem to vary and the combustion blower runs as usual.
Only other thing I can think is that I do have an OAK there are strong sub zero winds right now?

Two possibilities come to mind based on my experiences with the XXV:
1) Dead spot in the potentiometer. Give the room temp/stove temp dial a good back and forth or two, same with the fan speed dial and see if finds a "sweet spot". If not, try #2.
2) Possible loose wire/bad connection. Just last night I found my dist. blower wasn't working b/c one of the wires to the control panel had stripped out of its connector. Power down & unplug, then detach & reattach all the connectors, including the ones up to the back of the control panel.

Bad motor or its overheating because the fan or the windings are full of dust and pet hair? Been a lot of that lately!

If you are in room temperature mode, the distribution fan will shut off when room comes to temperature. When the sensor calls for more heat, the distribution fan will ramp up again. If the room is not coming up to temperature, distribution fan will continue on high. There is no relationship to flame hight.

Thanks for the help. After sweeping the fan/stove temp knob back and forth a few times I sat for about 30 minutes and the stove did not do it again. Went and slept for a few hours got up and asked the wife if it had done it again.. Of course got the.. I don't know?
I haven't noticed it since over been around the house so I assume fixed for now?

So, odly enough I noticed the stove has continued to occasionally do this.
I noticed the settings were on Manila instead of auto ignition. This was the first time I had ever manually started the stove. I flipped the switch to auto ( yes I know it was already ignited and shouldn't matter) but ever since.. The distribution blower has not shut off and then ramped back on... Who knows.. Maybe just coincidental.

my 52 I does the same exact thing, it must be in auto mode for the fan to stay working,
in manual mode the fan will occasionally abruptly stop, apparently this is how Harman designed it. go figure

Thanks for the link to the other post.. And good to see someone else has noticed this too.. I guess I didn't know to well how the stove works! I thought that auto/manual switch ONLY controlled manual or auto ignition.. Didn't know it had other effects.. Thanks again!

Sounds perfectly normal to me. My Accentra insert does the exact same thing. I have it set on manual, room temp.
