Power went out last night and it looked like it would be more than a 'few minutes' outage so I fired up my Honda eu2000 and flipped the 4 switches on my transfer box. It had been raining all day and would be raining all night; temp was in the low 40's. The pellet stove had been off for a couple of days due to the warmer temps but without the geo running I wanted to start the P38. This would be the first time the stove was powered by the generator. Long story short - after a quick brushing it started without a hitch. Soon our downstairs family room was 75. The power was restored about 7 hours later. Everything worked beautifully.
