So I noticed that my flame becomes lazy about a few hours after i scrape the burn pot. I did a full cleaning and when it started up everything was fine for a few days. Then the flame slowly became longer and dirtier. A quick scrape and the good burn was back.

Stove is built in 07. door gasket seams good. As soon as i open it the flame gets lazy. Close it and its a clean rapid burn.

could this be the start of a failing combustion motor.

Do you get a lot of ash buildup in those few hours? I see you burn Hamers so I would think not.

Not to much ash. the stove seems to burn a little better with the feed setting around 3.5 even though the manual says 4
