I have a Harman P61 which I have always run in the room temp mode. The stove is 3 years old. Today the stove stopped turning on when the room temp dropped. I turned the temp up on the stove and it came on and seemed to run fine. But then, it would not shut down when the room was above the temp set on the stove. Any suggestions what might be wrong? Thanks.

I'll second that. I would first suspect the room temp sensor.

I leave my stove in the manual position to keep the stove running.

The connection for the temp probe seem to be okay. I have thought about running it in manual mode, but too warm to have it running all the time.
