I have been leaving the stove in stove temp mode at night at around #3. It has been shutting off even though pellets are in hopper. Not sure as to why this is happening. I recently changed to a pine pellet which should not affect this, I don't believe. Anyone have suggestions as to why this may be occurring?

Stove temp mode runs off the ESP (exhaust sensor probe). If it stays running on room temp then possibly the ESP is bad. The Harman modes are explained in the "sticky" section..

Earlier this heating season our P61 temp selector had a dirty pot and it would shut down on me. Just touch the dial, not even move the dial but just tap it and the stove would start back up. I got some electronic spray cleaner and sprayed it in there as best as I could get it in and rotated the dial back and forth a few times and it's been fine ever since. That was back in Oct after sitting all summer.. It was just one setting position on the dial that was doing this, which is most common I use in shoulder season.

That said, when is the last time the stove and venting had a full cleaning ? This is about the time of year where those who neglected a mid season cleaning start having trouble, we have had a couple of members chiming in with problems that ended up being plugged vents when all was said and done...

Is the Status light blinking and, if so, how many times?
