Can one of you Mansfield owners answer a few questions for me? I can't find this info in the Mansfield manual.

1. What are the dimensions of the firebox?
2. What is the longest piece of wood that can be loaded North/South?

21 E/W 18 N/S; you can get a little longer in going diagonal.

18" N/S? Wow, I bet you can really pack that sucker full at night! How many 18" splits can you jam in there if you load N/S?

I find that I am lucky to get two layers, I alternate directions. ONE layer E/W and the other N/S.
This gives the air someplace to circulate. Burns all night, very warm, very happy....
