I have a mid- 90s Austroflamm Wega stove and the heat exchange cleaning rod broke. It is the kind that screws into the scraper and the rod broke at the threads. I can see a “nub” of threaded sticking out the back of the “scraper” so I think I can unscrew the nub and screw a new rod in. The only thing I can find online is a rod for a Breckwell stove— same length and threaded end, but probably not the right circumference for threaded end. Anyone know where I can source one for an old Austoflamm? Thanks.

Your best bet would be to get the old threaded end out and match it, measure the thread size and pitch. Maybe you can find one that fits or have a welding/fab shops put the 2 back together. Finding a cleaner shaft may prove difficult.
