Has anyone purchased their copper coils from ICS Industries coppertubingsales.com? They seem to have the best price. Just wondering if anyone has had good results with them. Also, is type K tubing better, being thicker or just a waste of $$$$ for this application?

Thanks

Terry

I don't know anything about said company, but those are decent prices
compared to what I was quoted a month ago, a good .40 less per ft on the
3/4L.

FWIW in my local, the plumbing codes in town require soft K for service entrances.
This so a welder can be used to thaw the line if it freezes. My plumber buddy
had maybe 1000ft of short pieces of varying length in his shop. He offered
to me at scrap price enought to make the coils for my storage tank..30-40
ft pieces. It averaged under .05 /ft.all 3/4K Know any plumbers in your area?
Might pay to inquire the local shops ..MM

I purchased my tubing from ICS but I purchased the L because I'm running line pressure for my DHW. Good price, good service, good quality and prompt delivery by UPS.
