Hey everyone

I've been lurking for a while but can't lurk anymore. Our Harman P35i will be installed on Wednesday and it can't come fast enough! I've watched every video of any pellet stove on Youtube. Even visited the store where we bought the stove from because I "forgot when it was scheduled to be installed".

Anyways, everyone I know who works with stoves or has a stove said to get a Harman so we did. I just can't wait to have a really warm house!

Tim

(is it bad I signed up to the site so I could have those little icons next to posts that have new replies?)

Welcome Tim,

Pictures once you get it rolling. Watch out for the looneys and the coots lurkin here(me included)!

Welcome. Any stove that helps keep the LP/oil trucks parked is good in my book.

Hello

Don't forget a Surge Protector so the control board or fuse does not blow after a power outage and RTFM - Read The Manual!

Not having the manual yet is no excuse because here it is! LOL Then you can ask the installers real good questions!
http://hearthnhome.com/downloads/installManuals/P35i.pdf

Questions like, How are you hooking up the OAK? - Outside Air Kit. (Now is the time to install and OAK if you want one. LOL)

See page 18 of the manual

Thanks for the manual link. I know they are venting all the way up the chimney. As for vent kit I'm not sure if I even need one. Reading all the debates and what not I don't think it's necessary but I'm also not sure if they were planning on doing one either.

Welcome, Tim. My name is Vinny and I am addicted to pellet fire.

Good luck.

Hi Tim, I think I did the same as you and watched every you tube video on pellet stoves and visited the local store a number of times! I think that's when you realize your hooked! Good luck with the install and can't wait to see the pics. Your going to love the heat!
