Hi all, so I currently have a newer ambiance outlander 19 stove. Produces about half 75k btu. Corner install double wall inside to triple through the wall. I do not feel I’m getting the heat out of the stove I should.
No damper in pipe due to it being a double wall. Only an air control on stove.
I have an opportunity to get my hands on an older fisher or single door rebel stove
What is the clearances needed for a corner install with this old steel stoves. I always seem 36” from the rear to the wall
I currently have wonderboard direct to the plaster wall with cultured stone adhered to it. No air gap.
Can I affix a heat sheild to these older stoves. (I am a welder by trade) utilizing 1” spacers and some 3/16 plate off the back to gain better clearance?
Help is needed. Thank you
