Hello
I have seen instructions for an item say you must glue it or tape it together but have you ever seen instructions that say you must weld it??? LOL
Just got a heavy duty Harbor Freight jack for my trailer. Good welds are rated to hold 40,000 up to 80,000 lbs per inch!
It states on the box
"Comes with Assembly Hardware"
I found no pic of assembly and no mounting bracket"
In small print it states
Position in place and weld on! LOL So instead of returning it, I did it! LOL
Here is a good video on how Not to weld it! LOL
Just a little Mistake. :)

After the welding and grinding, It is not done until the masking, primer and paint touch up is complete!

I have the same welder. And honestly it works just as well as my buddies millermatic at a fraction of the cost.

I originally wanted a Millermatic and was trying save some money for it. The Chicago Electrics are great for the money but being a beginning I wanted some presets. When this came out it was a No Brainer!
I am not a professional welder but I do need it for fixing things and pellet stoves. So with the metal Guage that comes with it and how it calculates the wire speed and voltage, I can get it dialed in and do the job!!
Check out this Sears tractor foot rest fix I did with the welder!

Do you use C25 for Stainless Steel or the Tri-Mix for gas??

I'm sorry but I cracked up when you tried it the first time and it was rotated.
Exactly the sort of thing I would do

Luckily that was not me and for once I learned before I did it, from someone else’s mistake! :)

Oh I get it now, I thought that was your video. Sorry for falsely accusing you of screwing up! ;lol
That is ok, if I did not see it, then I may have screwed up! LOL
Now since I am using the trailer for dump runs and need it covered for those times, what do you think of these Harbor Freight tarp clips?
Last time I went I used a lot of bungles!
