Howdy Hearth folks,
A point picked up and a tip in case you need to replace the high temperature specialized glass in the door of a wood stove or insert.
My grandkid accidently slammed the door of our Lopi / Fyre Xtrordinaire firplace insert and cracked the glass in it.

A replacement pane like the OEM was weeks out and $300 or more from local stove shops. I found a tip online that local glass dealers often stock high temperature glass required by stoves like mine. Anyway, I found a local glazier here in Exeter, NH who got me a piece of glass and cut it in his shop for me within three days, saving me significant time and money.

The takeaway: Chekc local glaziers in your area if you need glass like this; and if you're near southeastern NH and need stove glass, check out Glass Options in Exeter. Bob Wyman there will take good care of you and for a very fair price.

Here's a pic of the new glass. Back up and heating and you'd swear there's nothing in the door.
