Just finished installing Honeywell's brand new VisionPro 8000 Redlink internet capable thermostat on my Harman Accentra Insert.

This thermostat was just released by Honeywell and is millivolt capable.

I currently run a 3 zoned Honeywell system in my house (basement, main floor, bedrooms) that are all accessible via any web browser, smartphone, or internet enabled tablet anywhere in the world.

For basic connection you will need 4 things...
  1. Broadband internet
  2. Honeywell VisionPro8000 Thermostat (about $130) TH8110R1008 http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-TH8...382489887&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=TH8110R1008
  3. Redlink internet gateway (about $85) http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-THM6000R1002-Enabled-Internet-Gateway/dp/B006BD1K4A
  4. 24volt transformer to run the thermostat (any cheap one will work) $5-10 http://www.amazon.com/Heath-Zenith-121AC-Wired-Transformer/dp/B000BQW9Z2/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1382490172&sr=1-1&keywords=24 volt transformer

Basic Setup
  1. Connect Harman room temperature probe to a 2-wire thermostat wire (can someone help me out with the Harman bulletin?)
  2. Connect Harman room temp probe to terminals W and R on the thermostat (White and red wires in my picture) IMG_00000216.jpg
  3. Connect 24volt transformer to terminals C and Rc on thermostat (green and blue wires in my picture). *REMOVE ALL JUMPERS FROM THERMOSTAT
  4. Add batteries and follow on screen instructions for programming and adding the redlink accessories.
  5. For internet capability you will need to setup a free account on honeywells website. (https://rs.alarmnet.com/TotalConnectComfort/)

I set the thermostat to 2 cycles per hour so it doesn't turn on and off too many times (short cycle).

Also have an outdoor temperature sensor which provides temp and humidity from any of the interfaces and thermostats.(http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-C7089R1013-Wireless-Outdoor-Sensor/dp/B004MH7YE2/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1382490751&sr=1-1&keywords=honeywell outdoor redlink)

Also have the indoor remote which I can carry anywhere in the house and control all of the thermostats. (http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-REM5000R1001-Portable-Comfort-Control/dp/B004MH0S40/ref=sr_1_cc_3?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1382490855&sr=1-3-catcorr&keywords=honeywell remote redlink)

I love the system... Gives me the ability to control all 4 of my zones (3 HVAC and 1 Pellet) from one interface anywhere in the world; phone, tablet, computer.

I named my pellet stove "Family Room" on my account.

I have an Accentra insert and want to install a wifi thermostat. Did you just just wire the thermostat into the room sensing probe wires.

Can you go away for the weekend and then turn the stove on remotely and adjust the temp. This would be my goal.
