Okay don't laugh, but being a newbie I would like to know at what height the flame should over the top of the burn pot be, say when the settings are set for low, medium and high blower? Thanks and don't laugh!

I only worked on Quads when they had only one speed and that was high. The flame was supposed to "lick" the angle on the fireback

My flame varies depending on the setting. All the way down is a 2 inch flame in the burn pot, 1/2 way is about a 6-8 in flame and I have never turned it all the way up. I have a Austroflamm Integra I.

Both my stoves, depending on the heat setting, can have a flame that ranges from just a little higher than the burnpot on low to just about touching the heat exchenger tubes on high.
