I have a United States Stove Company 1400 that I purchased from my moms boyfriend. Over the next month or two, I plan on installing the stove pipe, ductwork (house came with electric baseboards) and thermostat.

How would you wire the thermostat? Should I make it so when the duct blower kicks on, the blower that feeds to the firebox that makes the fire burn hotter kicks on too?

Or should I do it differently? How would you suggest I do it?

I have a 1400 Square foot house and about 5 cords of wood, do I have enough for this winter?
