Hi all,
A bit over a month ago I posted about a chainsaw a Husky 162 I obtained and did a bit of work on (replaced anti-vibes, fuel line and filter) - Husqvarna 162se - new buffers.
The saw starts in no more than two pulls, idles no problem and sounds "normal" (at least to me) with the throttle full open.
Had the chance to cut some hardwood rounds (elm) recently that are about 14 inches in diameter. Cutting is fine if I don't put downward force onto the saw, but if I do, the saw is bogging down.. I would expect a 62cc saw to cut through stuff like this no problem. Chain is sharp and oiled.
Is this considered normal? Could I be seeing a compression and/or tuning issue on this?
